How Synthrise works
Everything about launching and trading here, in plain words: what the template locks, where every token and fee goes, and what none of it can protect you from.
What Synthrise is
Synthrise is the launchpad for fair Solana memecoins. Every coin launches from the exact same locked template: no presales, no hidden mint button, and the same terms for every coin. Pick a name, a ticker and an image, sign once from your own wallet, and your coin is live on a bonding curve in seconds. From that moment the rules are set, and neither the creator nor Synthrise can change them.
We built everything around one idea: when a coin wins here, the community wins. So the incentives all point the same way:
- Creators win when their coin wins. Their 5% allocation stays locked until the coin graduates, then unlocks over 30 days. No graduation, no allocation, and no trading fees for creators.
- Liquidity is locked forever. When a coin graduates, 100% of its pool liquidity is locked permanently. There's no pool to pull.
- Snipers pay, holders gain. Buying in the first three minutes carries a steep launch fee that falls from 50% to 0.25%. When the coin graduates, those fees go straight into its pool.
- You never have to take our word for it. Every coin page shows its Safety facts, read live from the blockchain.
Memecoins are wild, and that's the fun. Synthrise just makes sure everyone plays the same game.
Why launch on Synthrise
You could launch a memecoin anywhere. Here's why the ones that mean it launch here.
For creators
- Live in one signature. Name, ticker, image, done. No code and no setup: you pay only Solana's network costs and any first buy you choose.
- Trusted on sight. Before anyone buys, the coin page proves it can't be minted, frozen or edited.
- Your own branded address. Coin addresses end in “syn”, so anyone can see where it launched.
- Snipers don't get a free ride. Bots pay up to 50% in the first minutes, and that goes to your pool when you graduate.
For KOLs and communities
- Your followers can check you. Your 5% only unlocks after graduation, over 30 days, and the coin page shows what your wallet holds.
- Your audience sees your moves. Your launches and trades show up in your followers’ Following feed.
- Made to be shared. One click posts your launch to X, with the rules spelled out.
- A cleaner neighbourhood. Every launch, username and image is checked for scams, impersonation and abuse before it goes live.
For holders
- Everyone starts equal. Same curve and same prices for everyone. No presale, no insider round.
- Nothing to pull. At graduation, 100% of the liquidity is locked forever in a Meteora pool.
- Low fees. 0.25% on the curve and 0.1% after graduation.
The honest trade-off: creators here don't earn trading fees. Your upside is your 5% allocation and whatever you buy, and it only pays off if the coin graduates. That's deliberate, and it's exactly why people can trust a Synthrise launch.
How a launch works
- Connect your wallet (Phantom, Solflare, MetaMask or another Solana wallet). Your wallet address becomes the creator.
- Describe the coin: name, ticker, image and, optionally, a description and X, Telegram or website links.
- Optionally buy at launch, up to 2% of supply, in the same transaction. This first buy pays the normal fee, not the launch-window fee.
- Sign once. Your browser builds one transaction that creates the token, its metadata, its bonding curve and your optional first buy. Your wallet signs and sends it. Synthrise never sees your private key.
- Share it. A Share on X button opens a pre-written post with your coin's link.
If you cancel in your wallet or the transaction fails, nothing is created and nothing is spent apart from a network fee on a failed send.
Bonding curve and graduation
Every coin has a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens. While a coin is new, it trades on a bonding curve run by Meteora's Dynamic Bonding Curve program: a formula that sets the price from how much has been bought. Buying moves the price up, selling moves it down, and the curve itself is the other side of every trade, so there is always someone to sell to.
When 85 SOL has been raised on the curve, the coin graduates. Anyone can trigger graduation. The curve closes and the SOL raised, plus part of the supply, moves into a regular Meteora DAMM v2 pool where trading continues.
| Part of supply | Share | What happens to it |
|---|---|---|
| Sold on the bonding curve | ~75% | Bought by anyone, the creator included, at the curve price. |
| Graduated pool liquidity | 20% | Paired with the SOL raised in the DAMM v2 pool at graduation, then permanently locked. |
| Creator's allocation | 5% | Held untouched until graduation, then released to the creator over 30 days. |
The locked template
Every coin is created from one locked template. These rules are set once and enforced by Solana and Meteora's programs, not by Synthrise. Each coin page has a Safety facts section that reads them live from the chain, with a link to check each one yourself.
| Rule | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| No mint authority | Nobody can ever create more tokens. The supply stays at 1,000,000,000. |
| No freeze authority | Nobody can freeze the coins in your wallet. |
| Plain SPL token | No transfer fees, transfer hooks or permanent delegates that could tax or take your tokens. |
| Locked name, ticker and image | The coin cannot be renamed or rebranded after launch. |
| Liquidity locked forever | At graduation, 100% of the pool's liquidity is permanently locked. It can earn fees but can never be withdrawn. |
| Creator vesting | The creator's 5% unlocks in daily steps over 30 days, only after graduation. |
Fees
| When | Trading fee | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| First 3 minutes | 50% → 0.25% | Falls every 10 seconds. Makes sniping the launch expensive. |
| On the bonding curve | 0.25% | The lowest fee the curve program allows. |
| After graduation | 0.1% | In the DAMM v2 pool. |
Of every fee, 80% goes to Synthrise and 20% to Meteora, whose programs run the curve and the pool; Meteora's share is fixed and can't be changed. Creators earn no trading fees. The coin page shows the exact fee before you confirm a trade, and the live launch-window fee with a countdown.
Launch-window fees
In a coin's first 3 minutes the fee starts at 50%, so bots that buy in the first seconds pay heavily. Synthrise doesn't keep those fees if the coin succeeds, whenever that happens:
| If the coin… | Its launch-window fees… |
|---|---|
| Graduates | Are added to its locked pool. Synthrise claims exactly that amount, swaps half for the coin, adds both to the pool and locks them permanently. The transactions are linked on the coin page. |
| Hasn't graduated after 3 days | May be withdrawn by Synthrise. The withdrawal is linked on the coin page. Most coins never graduate. |
| Graduates after they were withdrawn | Synthrise adds the same amount to its locked pool from its own funds, exactly as above. |
This is a Synthrise policy carried out by the platform, not a rule the blockchain enforces. Amounts under 0.001 SOL are skipped because the transactions would cost more than they add.
The creator's share
A creator gets two things: whatever they buy, and their 5% allocation. They earn no trading fees.
- Tokens they buy, at launch (up to 2%) or later, are theirs straight away, with no lock, like anyone else's.
- The 5% allocation is free but locked. It stays inside the pool until graduation, then moves to a Jupiter Lock escrow and unlocks in 30 daily steps. Top holders labels it “creator vesting”.
- If the coin never graduates, the creator never receives the allocation. Their reward depends on the coin succeeding.
Wallets
Every launch and trade is signed in your own wallet; Synthrise never holds keys or funds. Any Solana wallet works, including Phantom, Solflare and MetaMask.
What we can't promise
The template removes the classic hidden powers. It does not make any coin a good investment. Please read these before you trade:
- Prices can fall to zero. Anyone, including the creator, can sell at any time, and most memecoins lose most of their value.
- The creator's first buy isn't locked, and a creator can buy from other wallets we can't link to them.
- The launch fee slows snipers, it doesn't stop them. There is no per-wallet buy cap; one person can use many wallets.
- Vested tokens can be sold. After graduation, the creator's daily unlocks can add selling pressure.
- The rules run on Meteora's programs, which Meteora can upgrade. “Locked forever” means locked as long as those programs work as published.
- We can hide coins, not delete them. Anyone can create a coin from the public template; we can keep bad ones off our pages, but they stay on-chain.
Only trade what you can afford to lose.
